Thailand's telehealth market to be valued at $9.51b by 2030

Thanks to the increasing adoption of digital healthcare.

Thailand’s telehealth market is expected to reach $9.51b by 2030 at a compound annual growth rate of 29.1%, Research and Markets revealed.

The sector’s expansion is attributed to the rising adoption of telehealth and digital healthcare.

“An increase in the number of initiatives by market players in terms of technological advancements and a growing focus on telehealth technologies have led to increased funding in the digital health space,” the report said.

The market is also shaped by a shortage of medical professionals in the face of an escalating demand for healthcare services.

Between 1998 and 2023, the country’s average number of employed individuals reached approximately $36.24 million, thus increasing the need for quality healthcare.

Moreover, this demand is fueled by the rapidly ageing population and the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases.
