South Korea’s AMC unveils AI voice recognition system for recording
The system performs real-time speech-to-text conversion during consultations.
South Korea’s Asan Medical Center has implemented an artificial intelligence-powered medical voice recognition system to summarise conversations between staff and patients.
The system utilises a large language model to perform real-time speech-to-text conversion during consultations.
Moreover, it is integrated with the centre’s medical information system (AMIS 3.0), allowing users to format data and automatically store it in electronic medical records and other databases.
The system is now operational across various clinical settings, including emergency rooms, hospital wards, and consultation rooms.
