SNUBH to launch Korea’s first int'l PSP Research and Treatment Centre
The centre will facilitate treatment, research, and the potential commercialisation of PSP therapies.
Seoul National University Bundang Hospital (SNUBH), along with CurePSP, Inc. and GemVax & KAEL Co., Ltd., is set to establish Korea's first International Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) Research and Treatment Centre.
The centre will leverage the organisations’ expertise and infrastructure to facilitate education, treatment, and research, as well as the potential commercialisation of therapies for PSP and other neurological conditions.
The centre will also address related conditions, including addiction-linked behavioural and neurological disorders, with a focus on substance abuse.
The initiative was formalised through a tripartite memorandum of understanding aimed at advancing research, treatment, and education for PSP and related neurological conditions.
