Sinus dilation devices market to grow by $1.5b by 2028

Its expansion is attributed to a high prevalence of chronic sinusitis.

The global sinus dilation devices market is projected to grow by $1.5b by 2028 at an estimated compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 8.09%, according to Technavio.

The sector’s notable expansion is attributed to the rising prevalence of chronic sinusitis, chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS), and related symptoms such as facial pain, headache, breathing difficulty, fatigue, and nasal congestion.

Minimally invasive procedures, such as Balloon Sinuplasty, are gaining prominence over traditional surgeries for fewer post-operative complications, and quicker recovery times.

Moreover, early innovations like functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) have been complemented by more advanced techniques, such as image-guided surgery, which employs CT scanners and MRIs for improved precision.

“The market is also witnessing the adoption of surgical laser technologies to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of sinus dilation procedures,” the report said.

Furthermore, key players such as hospitals, clinics, ENT specialists, and medical technology companies are driving the sector during the forecast period.
