SingHealth, St John Brigade renew MoU for ‘Hospital Attachment Programme’

Cadets gain first-hand exposure to hospital care through SingHealth institutions.

SingHealth has renewed its memorandum of understanding with St John Brigade Singapore for the continuation of the Hospital Attachment Programme (HAP), which was first introduced in 2013.

HAP allows St John Brigade cadets to gain first-hand exposure to hospital care through attachments at SingHealth institutions.

These institutions include Singapore General Hospital, Changi General Hospital, Sengkang General Hospital, and the National Heart Centre Singapore.

During the attachment, cadets observe hospital operations and learn basic nursing skills such as monitoring vital signs, charting, feeding, and the use of nursing devices.
