Singapore launches cloud-based platform for enhanced public health
Starting in June, all entities within the sector will be onboarded to HEALIX.
Singapore HealthTech agency, Synapse has unveiled the cloud-based analytics platform, “Health Empowerment thru Advanced Learning & Intelligent eXchange” (HEALIX) for the public health sector.
From June, all public healthcare entities will be onboarded to HEALIX, bringing the sector’s data needs to a single platform for improved patient care.
Through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Synapxe has early access to new tools such as generative Artificial intelligence (AI) and insights into data analytics and machine learning best practices to ensure HEALIX’s interoperability and inter-connectivity.
“Over time, it will provide more cutting-edge cloud-native tools, to meet the AI and machine learning needs for research and development in public healthcare use cases,” Ngiam Siew Ying, CEO of Synapxe, said.
Furthermore, the new platform is housed on the Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) and Healthcare Commercial Cloud to guarantee smooth integration of actionable insights.
“This forward-thinking initiative demonstrates Synapxe’s commitment to enable public healthcare users to leverage data and insights across the entire sector in a safe, transformative, collaborative and cost-effective manner, ultimately delivering a positive impact for health in Singapore,” Ngiam added.
