The hospital aims to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
Thailand’s Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mahidol University’s Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies to develop a low-carbon hospital model for carbon neutrality.
The project will involve assessing greenhouse gas emissions within the hospital and using this data to improve its ability to adapt to and mitigate the effects of climate change.
The hospital aims to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, which includes promoting renewable energy throughout its supply chain.
