The funding will increase the hub’s capacity to support patients who call triple zero.

The Australian government is investing $5.2m (A$8.31m) to upgrade the Queensland Ambulance Service Clinical Hub.

The expansion will increase the hub’s capacity to support patients who call triple zero.

The facility is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of senior paramedics, specialist doctors, registered nurses, mental health and social workers, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.
