Philippine city partners with HMN on 15-Station Hemodialysis Centre
The facility aims to reduce referrals and travel burdens.
Philippines’ Valenzuela City Government partners with Healthway Medical Network for the opening of a 15-Station Hemodialysis Centre at the Valenzuela City Emergency Hospital (VCEH), Healthway Philippines shared in a LinkedIn post.
The public–private partnership (PPP) aims to deliver premium, affordable, and reliable hemodialysis care to Valenzuela residents in need of regular treatment through expert nurses and nephrologists.
The centre is set to provide increased capacity to serve patients with chronic kidney disease, access to modern, safe, and affordable dialysis treatments, reduced out-of-city referrals and minimised transportation and financial burdens, and care supported by PhilHealth and local medical assistance programmes.
It also unlocks patient benefits through HMN, including preferential access to advanced diagnostics, specialised services, care coordination, and further renal care pathways.
Wes Gatchalian, Valenzuela City Mayor, ensured that the partnership will cater to the needs of the people while providing convenient access to safe, modern, and compassionate dialysis care for residents.
Healthway QualiMed Hospital San Jose del Monte, a member of Ayala Healthcare Holdings, Inc. (AC Health)'s Healthway Medical Network (HMN), will oversee clinical operations at the centre to ensure consistent quality of service, standardised protocols, and a patient-centred care experience.
The Valenzuela City Government provided the space within VCEH and supported the facility’s development, whilst Healthway Medical Network supplied medical equipment, oversaw daily operations, and delivered care in line with Department of Health (DOH) requirements and HMN’s clinical standards.
“This partnership reflects our shared belief that every Filipino deserves accessible, high-quality, and affordable healthcare,” said Paolo F. Borromeo, President and CEO of AC Health.
The partnership expands its footprint in Metro Manila, reinforcing its commitment to providing integrated, high-quality care nationwide.
“Our team is ready to manage the facility to the highest levels of safety, efficiency, and clinical excellence. Together with the Valenzuela City Government, we aim to uplift patient experience and outcomes for every individual who walks through these doors,” said Jaime Ysmael, President & CEO of Healthway Medical Network.
On 25 November 2025, HMN also formalised a major PPP with the Iloilo Provincial Government to manage and operate their government-run dialysis centres, further underscoring the company’s expanding role in elevating healthcare services across Philippine communities.
