NHG names new Chairman, Medical Board of Khoo Tech Puat Hospital

Phoa Lee Lan will succeed Pek Wee Yang, who has held the position since 2016.

The National Healthcare Group (NHG) has announced the appointment of associate professor Phoa Lee Lan as Chairman, Medical Board of Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) and Yishun Community Hospital (YCH), effective 1 January.

Phoa will succeed associate professor Pek Wee Yang, who has held the position since 2016.

Before her appointment, Phoa served as the Deputy Chairman, Medical Board (Medicine, Care and Integration Flow) at KTPH and YCH from 2017.

In addition, she serves as an adjunct Associate Professor at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and NTU Singapore’s Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. Phoa also contributes as an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians.
