NHG integrates AI-driven chest X-ray in diagnostic radiology
A pilot implementation phase will run from October to August 2025 at the Geylang Polyclinic.
The National Healthcare Group (NHG) in Singapore, through a partnership with Lunit, is set to integrate an AI-powered chest X-ray analysis solution into its diagnostic radiology systems.
According to NHG, the integration will aid in diagnosing lung and heart conditions by identifying and prioritising chest X-rays (CXRs) with significant abnormalities, thereby streamlining the triaging process for patients in primary care settings,
Meanwhile, the pilot phase of Lunit INSIGHT CXR’s implementation will run at Geylang Polyclinic from October until August 2025, and based on the results, may be extended to other NHG polyclinics.
Its deployment will be through the country’s national radiology AI platform, AimSG, and is supported by Synapxe and the National Health Innovation Centre Singapore.
