NHG Health unveils Serangoon Polyclinic in Singapore

The facility will integrate oral health into its frailty management framework.

NHG Health has launched Serangoon Polyclinic to expand primary care in central and northern Singapore.

The polyclinic is the first under the group to pilot the integration of oral health into its frailty management framework. Advanced Practice Nurses will apply the ‘Oral Frailty Index’ to screen patients for risks of oral-related complications.

The facility is also trialling the Vaccine Intelligence Optimised Logistics with AI (VIOLA) system to automate vaccine management.

The VIOLA system uses artificial intelligence to monitor stock, streamline processes, and support vaccination safety.

Moreover, the polyclinic is introducing additional tools in phases, such as the ‘Prioritisation and Redistribution of Imaging for Medical Evaluation of Chest X-Ray’ system to sort chest X-rays by urgency.
