The hospital will feature the region’s first paediatric department and a modern maternity unit.

Construction of the $206m (A$330m) Eurobodalla Regional Hospital in New South Wales, Australia is progressing, with the first concrete pour completed for the north-western corner’s lower ground floor.

According to the government, the section will house the region’s first paediatric department and a modern maternity unit.

Furthermore, the hospital will also feature an intensive care unit and an MRI service.

Meanwhile, work on a new roundabout on the Princes Highway to support access to the hospital’s site entrances is set to begin in the coming months.

Temporary traffic conditions will be in place during construction, which is expected to be completed later this year.
