New ambulance station to launch in Beechworth, Australia

The facility will replace the town’s current outdated branch.

The Australian Government in Victoria is set to establish a new ambulance station in Beechworth.

The station will replace the current outdated branch with a purpose-built, two-storey facility, featuring a three-bay ambulance garage, two rest and recline areas, a training room, longer-term accommodation, and secure staff car parking for paramedics.

Construction of the new facility is expected to begin soon after the existing station is demolished.

Meanwhile, local paramedics will temporarily operate from the former medical centre on Warner Road to avoid any disruption to services during construction.
