King Saud University Medical City unveils new paediatric aerodigestive clinic

Saudi Arabia’s King Saud University Medical City, represented by King Khalid University Hospital, has announced the launch of a paediatric aerodigestive clinic.
The clinic addresses complex health issues in children involving the upper respiratory tract, lungs, and upper digestive system.
It incorporates specialities, such as paediatric ENT surgery, paediatric gastroenterology, paediatric pulmonology and sleep disorders, speech and swallowing pathology, and paediatric nutrition.
In addition, the facility features a multidisciplinary team of specialists to provide coordinated care for diagnostic testing, procedures, and treatments that may require anaesthesia.
A clinical nursing coordinator will also assist families in managing their child’s treatment, with a social worker offering additional support.
