Hong Kong’s hospital dental clinics to join OMS service in 2026
The integration covers seven HDS clinics.
The hospital dental service (HDS), currently run by Hong Kong’s Department of Health, will be integrated with the oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMS) service under the Hospital Authority (HA) from 6 February 2026.
The integration covers seven HDS clinics, all located within public hospitals managed by the HA.
These facilities include Queen Mary Hospital, Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital, Tuen Mun Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital, and North District Hospital.
The clinics will continue to operate at their existing locations whilst integrating with the OMS services already provided in six of the public hospitals.
