Healthway Medical Network launches new machine for digital mammography
The new device adopts high-resolution imaging with reduced radiation exposure for breast cancer screening.
Healthway Medical Network (HMN) has adopted a new digital mammography machine at its multi-speciality centre in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Philippines.
According to the group, the new device offers high-resolution imaging for breast cancer screening, enabling the centre’s doctors to identify potential abnormalities with better accuracy.
Moreover, its adoption is aligned with HMN’s initiative of offering comprehensive screenings to promote early diagnosis amongst patients.
"This new mammogram machine represents a significant leap forward in breast cancer screening and detection for HMN patients at Healthway Multi-Specialty Clinics. Now with the Healthway Cancer Care Hospital, HMN can now complete the cycle of breast cancer care in the network," Aldine Basa, Head of Breast Center for Excellence at the Healthway Cancer Care Hospital, said.
"By offering high-resolution imaging with minimal radiation exposure, we empower women to take charge of their health with confidence," Basa added.
