Hanyang University Hospital deploys private 5G network from HFR Mobile

The initiative aims to address critical safety concerns.

Hanyang University Hospital in Guri, South Korea, has integrated a private 5G solution developed by HFR Mobile to improve safety and efficiency within its medical facilities.

The deployment, which includes a 5G network infrastructure—service management platform, core network, CU/DU, and radio unit—addresses critical safety concerns.

The solution utilises high-speed, low-latency capabilities to power AI-driven CCTV systems that monitor emergency rooms and waiting areas in real time to detect potential fall incidents and hazards.

Moreover, it incorporates a real-time infusion monitoring service that tracks IV fluid flow rates, volumes, and delivery status directly from a patient's bedside.
