Gleneagles Hospital Chennai unveils eye care centre in Perumbakkam

The facility features different subspecialties.

India’s Gleneagles Hospital Chennai has launched a new eye care centre at its flagship campus in Perumbakkam.

The Gleneagles Eye Centre features retina and cornea services, an oculoplastic and orbit Centre, paediatric ophthalmology, a computer vision clinic, and neuro-ophthalmology in partnership with the Institute of Neurosciences.

It also houses a facial aesthetic clinic in partnership with the Institute of Plastic Surgery and ocular oncology services in collaboration with the Institute of Oncology.

The centre was inaugurated by Sudha Seshayyan, Vice Chairperson of the Central Institute of Classical Tamil and Director, SASTRA University, Chennai, in the presence of E Ravindra Mohan, Director, Gleneagles Eye Centre and Nageswar Rao K, CEO, Gleneagles Hospitals Chennai.
