Geraldton Health Campus redevelopment progresses with structural works
The campus will feature a new intensive care unit and a high-dependency unit.
Main construction works on the $103.3m (A$166m) Geraldton Health Campus redevelopment are progressing, with a multi-level structure now taking shape.
Current works are focused on the pouring of concrete slabs, including the upper-floor and roof-suspended slabs, along with the construction of stairways and lift cores.
Meanwhile, the next steps include the extension of the ground-level slab towards the existing hospital, followed by the commencement of the first-floor columns.
Once completed, the redevelopment will feature an expanded emergency department, alongside a new intensive care unit and high-dependency unit.
