Data Security Council of India, HIMSS ink MoU for healthcare cybersecurity
Both will identify stakeholders and representative hospitals for a market analysis.
The Data Security Council of India (DSCI) and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) have collaborated to conduct a national-level market analysis of cybersecurity in the country.
Through a memorandum of understanding (MoU), HIMSS and DSCI will outline the scope of work, identify key stakeholders, and engage representative hospitals to participate in the analysis.
Both will collaborate on shaping policy to support the digital transformation of the healthcare industry. This will involve active participation in government and regulatory policy initiatives.
The organisations will also focus on workforce development, with shared access and speaking opportunities for their executive events.
The MoU was signed by Vinayak Godse, CEO of DSCI, and Simon Lin, HIMSS Vice President and Managing Director for APAC.
