Cardiopulmonary stress testing systems market to grow by $2.18b by 2028

Thanks to an increase in heart speciality centres and a rise in heart and lung diseases.

The global cardiopulmonary stress testing systems market is projected to rise by $2.18b until 2028 at an estimated compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.78%, said Technavio.

The sector’s expansion is attributed to an increasing number of heart speciality centres amidst the rising prevalence of heart and lung diseases, particularly amongst the ageing population, athletes, and those with cardiovascular conditions.

“With increasing healthcare spending, there is a growing demand for advanced diagnostic techniques like high-sensitivity ECG equipment and portable devices,” the report said.

Meanwhile, wearable medical devices are gaining traction in the market, particularly in home care environments.

These devices are increasingly being designed for continuous stress monitoring with specific health indicators, such as high blood pressure.
