Burjeel, Etihad Airways partner to boost Abu Dhabi’s medical tourism
The collaboration will establish referral pathways for international patients.
Burjeel Holdings has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Etihad Airways to strengthen Abu Dhabi’s position in medical tourism and expand healthcare access to the airline’s employees and their families.
The collaboration will establish referral pathways for international patients, facilitating direct case management and clinician access.
Burjeel will also provide Etihad’s workforce with access to its network of hospitals and medical centres across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra.
This will include health awareness programmes, wellness lectures, and priority access to medical services.
The MoU was signed by Muntaser Husein, Director of Health and Wellbeing at Etihad Airways, and Mohammad Qaddoura, COO of Abu Dhabi Emirate and Oman at Burjeel Holdings.
