Burjeel Cancer Institute reels in new CEO

He previously served as the regional director of Burjeel Oncology GCC.

Burjeel Holdings has named Humaid Al-Shamsi as the CEO of its newly inaugurated cancer institute in Abu Dhabi.

Al-Shamsi has rendered more than four years of work under the group, focusing on the field of oncology.

In line with this, the Emirati physician and professor has served as the regional director of Burjeel Oncology GCC before being appointed into his current role.

As CEO, Al-Shamsi is poised to lead the Burjeel Cancer Institute (BCI) in delivering quality diagnostic therapeutic services whilst collaborating with the group’s partners in advancing cancer care.

"By integrating advanced diagnostic tools and cutting-edge treatments under one roof, we aim to provide a seamless and patient-centric experience. Our focus is on enhancing the quality of life for our patients and their families," he said.
