Bangkok Hospital’s revamped Eye and Lasik Centre
The facility provides eye treatment from over 80 ophthalmologists and a multi-disciplinary team.
Bangkok Hospital has upgraded its Eye and Lasik Centre in response to the growing demand for treatment related to ophthalmic diseases.
“From past statistics, the number of people seeking advice and eye treatment at Bangkok Hospital has increased significantly. In 2023, approximately 200 people received services daily, resulting in approximately 10% increase from the previous year,” Eye and Lasik Centre Bangkok Hospital director, Tarinee Sa-Ngiampornpanit, said.
Meanwhile, Sa-Ngiampornpanit shared that the revamped facility has incorporated Smart services to improve patient privacy.
This includes adding key areas such as doctor consultation zones, medical equipment zones, waiting areas, and eye drop rooms.
In line with this, the centre houses over 80 ophthalmologists and a multi-disciplinary team to provide examination, treatment, and surgical options for patients with general eye diseases or complex conditions.
Moreover, the centre offers vision correction services such as laser vision correction and implantable collamer lens (ICL) implants.
“We emphasise holistic treatment and comprehensive care for eye problems across all age groups to help everyone achieve good eye health and sharp vision,” Sa-Ngiampornpanit added.
