Australian gov’t invests $11.8m in NSW paediatric allied health expansion

The funding covers the appointment of 32 health professionals.

The Australian Government has invested $11.8m (A$17.9m) to recruit 32 paediatric allied health professionals across New South Wales.

The new appointments, a mix of full-time and part-time roles, cover 15 local health districts and the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network.

Key roles include speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers and dietitians.
