This includes improvements on its nurse call system and hospital lift.
The Australian government in New South Wales has invested $1.06m (A$1.6m) in funding for two infrastructure projects at Maclean District Hospital.
The investment includes approximately $660,095 (A$1m) to upgrade the hospital’s nurse call system.
Meanwhile, approximately $400,000 (A$600,000) will be used to replace the hospital’s lift, which is more than 30 years old.
Fabrication and delivery of the new lift will be followed by a three-month decommissioning and installation process, scheduled for mid-2026.
