Australia invests $70m in Moree Hospital redevelopment

It will feature a new clinical services building on the existing hospital site.

The Australian Government has invested $70m (A$105m) in the redevelopment of Moree Hospital in New South Wales.

The project will feature a new clinical services building on the existing hospital site, designed to integrate with the current campus structures to ensure all services remain connected.

The redevelopment will also include an emergency department, operating theatres, medical imaging facilities, a birthing and inpatient unit, pathology services, and a new main entry.

Construction is expected to begin in 2025, with planning for the redevelopment nearing completion.
