The technology enables real-time, image-guided radiation therapy.

Philippines’ Asian Hospital and Medical Center has launched CyberKnife for targeted cancer treatment.

The technology enables real-time, image-guided radiation therapy that minimises damage to surrounding healthy tissue and allows for painless delivery.

The hospital aims to introduce new approaches that improve patient outcomes, said Asian Hospital President and CEO, Beaver Tamesis.

“It's about time, CyberKnife is home,” he added.
