Asan Medical Center extends partnership with Emirates Health Services
The MoU will allow more active exchanges, trainings and collaborations for both institutions.
Asan Medical Center signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with health regulatory authorities of the United Arab Emirates, expanding their active exchanges and collaboration in the field of healthcare.
Under the agreement with Emirates Health Services (EHS), both institutions will collaborate on the expansion of visiting doctors programmes, the development of an integrated healthcare system, joint research and innovation programmes, and training for medical professionals.
Asan Medical Center has a strong relationship with the UAE, cooperating on patient referrals, medical staff training, and management agreements for a gastrointestinal-specialised clinic.
Last year, the medical centre admitted over 20,860 international patients, with UAE patients accounting for the second highest proportion at 18%.
