Arete Hospitals adopts ‘SkyWalker’ robotic system for knee replacements

The system is designed to work with the NitrX Evolution implant.

Arete Hospitals, Hyderabad, has adopted the ‘SkyWalker Orthopedic Robotic System’ for knee replacement surgery, in collaboration with MicroPort Orthopedics Inc.

The system is designed to work with the NitrX Evolution implant to provide sub-millimetre precision in knee joint alignment.

Mukesh Parmar, Senior Director and General Manager for South Asia at MicroPort Orthopedics, said the implant’s choice is critical as it remains with the patient for life.

The combination is intended to support personalised surgical outcomes, faster recovery, and implant longevity.
