The new facility features a computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD-CAM) laboratory, 3D printing, and extended reality tools.
Through the CAD-CAM system, the centre can manufacture dental prostheses made from zirconium and titanium.
The department will also introduce training programmes in partnership with Amrita 3D-iology Labs that leverage virtual and mixed reality technologies.
