The peanut allergy market across the seven major markets (7MM), valued at $400m in 2024, is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate of 16% until 2034, according to a DelveInsight report.

The sector’s growth is attributed to an increased usage of approved therapies, the expected entry of emerging therapies, and a slight rise in diagnoses.

“PALFORZIA, administered orally, offers a convenient and accessible treatment option compared to traditional SC, intradermal, and epicutaneous therapies,” the report said.

However, the slow uptake of PALFORZIA, the underdiagnosis of mild patients, and the lack of approved treatment options for adults may challenge market growth.
