Siloam International Hospitals secures win at Healthcare Asia Awards 2026 as Hospital Group of the Year - Indonesia
The hospital network was recognised for strengthening healthcare access across multiple cities.
Siloam International Hospitals received the Hospital Group of the Year - Indonesia recognition at the Healthcare Asia Awards 2026, affirming international recognition of its healthcare quality, medical innovation, and clinical excellence in delivering world-class standards of care for communities across Indonesia. The award also reflects Siloam’s continued commitment to advancing service delivery, strengthening clinical capabilities, and enhancing patient experience through ongoing innovation.
The organisation operates one of the largest private hospital networks in the country, with 41 hospitals and more than 75 clinics serving communities across over 39 cities. The network includes more than 4,400 operational beds and a workforce of over 14,000 employees, including specialists, general practitioners, dentists, nurses, and other medical staff. More than four million patients receive care annually across its facilities.
In 2025, Siloam strengthened its clinical network with 23 Stroke Ready Hospital units and 13 Chest Pain Ready Hospital units, significantly improving access to timely and coordinated stroke and cardiac care across Indonesia. By early 2026, Siloam had deployed seven advanced medical robotic systems across key specialties, enabling high-precision procedures in urology, orthopaedics, digestive surgery, and neurosurgery, including prostatectomy, kidney tumour removal, joint replacement, and complex brain and spine surgeries. This integrated expansion strengthens Siloam’s position as a leader in technology-driven healthcare, delivering measurable improvements in clinical precision, patient outcomes, and access to advanced care nationwide.
Expansion into underserved areas also supports the group’s commitment to national healthcare coverage. Several clinics in Papua deliver primary medical services and health awareness programmes to communities facing geographical and logistical barriers. Community outreach continues through initiatives such as the SELANGKAH programme, which focuses on breast cancer education and screening. Since its launch in 2023, the programme has provided free screenings and awareness activities to more than 52,000 women across 30 cities in Indonesia, with participants requiring further evaluation receiving follow-up care through the hospital network.
Healthcare services also extend beyond hospital facilities through laboratory services, clinics, and homecare support, improving access to diagnostics, follow-up care, and community-based services. In 2025, the laboratory network completed millions of tests, whilst over 70 clinics expanded ambulatory and primary care reach. Homecare services supported more than 33,000 patients, bridging hospitals and post-acute needs.
