Moe Kaung Treasure Maternal and Child Hospital nabs wins at Healthcare Asia Awards 2025

Moe Kaung Treasure Maternal and Child Hospital was hailed as the Tertiary Hospital of the Year - Myanmar in the coveted Healthcare Asia Awards 2025 for its unwavering commitment to providing superior care in the country, especially in obstetric, paediatric, fertility care, and oncology services.  

At the core of the hospital’s mission is its dedication to maternal health. It provides advanced care for high-risk obstetric patients, including specialised Obstetrics ICU and HDU services. With a team of highly skilled obstetricians available 24/7, the hospital is equipped to manage complex and life-threatening cases such as cesarean hysterectomy, placenta previa, and placenta accreta.

Moe Kaung Treasure also boasts one of the country's leading fertility programmes, offering cutting-edge treatments like intrauterine insemination and in-vitro fertilisation with high success rates. Its Origin Fertility Centre also provides advanced reproductive technologies, including embryo, sperm, and egg storage and monitoring services.

For paediatric patients, the hospital offers exceptional care through 24/7 paediatrician availability, a paeediatric ICU, HDU, and neonatal ICU (NICU) that is specifically designed to care for premature infants as early as 32 weeks of gestation and those with extremely low birth weights, even as small as one pound.
