Abu Dhabi-Sanofi deal advances vaccine innovation

Abu Dhabi’s Department of Health and Sanofi have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance their partnership in vaccine innovation.

It also aims to strengthen artificial intelligence-enabled vaccine discovery, mRNA research, and support the preparedness for regional and global health challenges.

Additionally, the MoU will explore the development of a Vaccine Innovation Centre in Abu Dhabi.

The planned Vaccine Innovation Centre is expected to strengthen Abu Dhabi's contribution to global health security.

It will also support the development of local scientific talent, advanced manufacturing capabilities and next-generation vaccine innovation.
