IHH, Fortis drive India’s health-tech startups towards deployment
Three-month programme moves startups beyond pilots.
IHH Healthcare and Fortis Healthcare have launchedw “IHH Catalyst | Fortis India Edition” to move health-tech startups beyond proof-of-concept and into clinical validation and deployment within Fortis’ hospital network in India, the companies said on 10 February.
The three-month hybrid programme, delivered in partnership with Plug and Play, is designed to address barriers to hospital-scale implementation by providing selected startups with access to live clinical environments, mentorship from healthcare leaders and support on regulatory, cybersecurity and interoperability requirements.
The initiative will focus on patient journey and workflows, chronic disease management, multidisciplinary care, preventive and predictive care, and oncology.
Fortis operates 36 healthcare facilities with over 6,000 operational beds in India, providing the cohort with access to established hospital infrastructure for pilot testing and validation.
Applications open from 10 February, with the selected cohort to be announced on 25 March and a Demo Day scheduled in Gurugram on 2 July.
