The project will add at least 210 overnight beds and expand key services.
The Australian Government in Queensland is expanding Redcliffe Hospital as part of its $12.1b (A$18.5b) Hospital Rescue Plan.
The hospital will add at least 210 overnight beds and expand services, including maternity, endoscopy, and operating theatres. Additional car parking will also be provided to meet growing demand.
Richard Crookes Construction has been appointed to construct a $23.6m (A$36m), three-level extension to the hospital’s multi-storey carpark.
Meanwhile, contractors can now register their interest for the main works on the new Redcliffe Hospital Expansion. Registration closes on 21 November.
Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2026.
