Over half of APAC healthcare providers to boost patient app spending

Investments in tech-enabled integrated care initiatives are expected to grow by 55% in 2026.

More than half (50%) of healthcare providers in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region are set to increase their spending on patient engagement apps this year.

A report by IDC revealed that the hospital-at-home (H@H) care shift is gaining momentum in the region driven by an evolving ecosystem, pilot initiatives, and a focus on tech investments.

In line with this, investments in tech-enabled integrated care initiatives are projected to grow by 55% in 2026 to address concerns on patient safety, workforce, and care access.
