TASMC and NeuroBrave to empower paralysed patients through AI

The collaboration will enable real-time translation designed to assist paralysed patients in communicating.

Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Centre (TASMC) partnered with NeuroBrave to bring generative AI into brain-computer interfaces (BCI), and accelerate research of solutions for complex neurological conditions and patient care.

The partnership will enable real-time translation of neural information, allowing completely paralysed patients to communicate with those around them, as well as operate computers, phones, and other devices.

"The partnership with NeuroBrave opens exciting possibilities to take the next step in brain-computer interfaces, translate brain activity into speech, and help patients with various brain disorders to communicate." Ido Strauss, head of the Functional Neurosurgery Unit at the Sourasky Medical Centre, said.

The partners have signed a research and commercial cooperation agreement to accelerate the research and implementation of solutions for complex neurological conditions and patient care.
