Kauvery Group of Hospitals commissions new facility in Tamil Nadu

The India-based multispecialty hospital chain plans to expand the facility to 400 beds.

India-based multispecialty healthcare chain Kauvery Group of Hospitals has commissioned a 100-bedded tertiary care facility in Vannnarpet, Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu, the company announced in a press release.

Kauvery Group of Hospitals heralded their entry into South Tamil Nadu with the renovation and upgradation of the former 100-bedded Galaxy Hospital facility, with plans for future expansion into a 400-bedded super speciality hospital.

The hospital seeks to focus on emergency, trauma care, critical care, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, urology, nephrology, neurology, neuro-surgery, paediatric surgery, plastic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, general surgery, orthopaedics, ENT, gastroenterology, pulmonology, diabetology, rheumatology, general medicine, radiology and cancer therapy.

The group of doctors of Galaxy Hospital shall continue their service with respect to their specialities, the company said.
