Study sees rise in remote care affordability in APAC
L.E.K. Consulting sees that APAC will have 210 million more middle-income families.
APAC will have 210 million more middle-income families, with disposable income between US$20,000 to US$70,000, by 2035 than 2035, read a study from L.E.K. Consulting.
This development will help remote care become cost-effective whilst APAC markets are adopting new models of care delivery to increase access to healthcare, particularly in LMICs (e.g., Telemedicine companies such as MSI International and MeetDocter entering Cambodia).
L.E.K. is also seeing that hospitals find that digital health solutions are gaining traction in the APAC region.
"Key RCM solutions that are currently adopted include remote consultation, predictive health programs and digital-enabled remote patient monitoring," read the statement.
