This partnership covers medical expertise exchange and research collaboration.
Malaysia’s Sunway Medical Centre Velocity and Taiwan’s Dalin Tzu Chi Hospital have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen cross-border cooperation in healthcare.
Both hospitals will implement clinical exchange initiatives aimed at enhancing medical competency, aligning best medical practices, and supporting continuous education for healthcare professionals.
The partnership also covers collaborative research efforts, including joint multicentre clinical trials and co-authored international publications.
The agreement also outlines a bilateral patient referral mechanism for complex cases, with provisions for continuity of care and preventive health services across both institutions.
Moreover, the MoU includes a framework for mutual benchmarking on green hospital practices and the development of ESG-focused key performance indicators.
