Singapore launches “Grow Well SG” to promote children’s health habits
The strategy emphasises early intervention in nutrition, sleep, learning, and exercise.
Singapore has introduced ‘Grow Well SG’, a national health promotion strategy to improve preventive care and promote healthier lifestyles amongst children and adolescents.
The strategy emphasises early intervention in four key areas: eating well, sleeping well, learning well, and exercising well.
In addition, it will focus on children up to 12 years old, with plans to extend it to older age groups in the future.
The initiative is a joint effort between Singapore’s Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Social and Family Development.
