The Australian government has approved the construction of a new private hospital in Victoria’s biomedical precinct, Parkville.
The hospital will feature over 200 beds, along with pathology, medical imaging, seven operating rooms, and 10 intensive-care unit rooms.
The facility will be located at the corner of Flemington Road and Errol Street, opposite the Royal Women’s Hospital and near the Royal Children’s Hospital, the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre, the Australian Medical Association, and the Bio21 Institute.
