Lipid nanoparticles market to reach $3.1b by 2033 as chronic diseases rise

The adoption of mRNA-based vaccines will also fuel demand.

The lipid nanoparticles (LNP) market is estimated to reach $3.1b by 2033, expanding at a compound annual growth rate of 13.1% from 2024 to 2033, according to an Allied Market Research report.

The rise in chronic diseases, targeted therapeutics, and the adoption of mRNA-based vaccines have boosted demand for LNP technologies in drug delivery, gene therapy, and oncology applications.

North America generated the highest revenue share in 2023, whilst Europe and Asia-Pacific witnessed steady expansion due to increasing biopharmaceutical research and development.
