Johor Specialist Hospital adopts ZEISS robotic system for neurosurgery
The technology provides real-time 4K image capture.
Malaysia’s Johor Specialist Hospital has adopted the “ZEISS KINEVO 900 S Robotic Visualisation System” for neurosurgery.
The technology provides real-time 4K image capture for procedures such as aneurysm repair, pituitary tumours and skull base surgery.
It also enables targeting for biopsies and deep brain stimulation, assists with spinal screw placement and deformity correction, and supports reconstructions in ear, nose, throat and sinus surgery.
The system is applied across the hospital’s three specialised areas, including neurosurgery, spinal surgery, and combined endoscopic microsurgery.
