Fortis, Gleneagles Healthcare India partner to drive business growth

The entities will follow an “O&M Services” model.

IHH Healthcare Berhad has announced a strategic partnership between its Indian subsidiaries, Fortis Healthcare Limited and Gleneagles Healthcare India Private Limited, to drive business growth.

Fortis will manage the operations of five hospitals under the Gleneagles India network through an operations and maintenance services agreement.

The model enhances operational scale, clinical excellence, and geographical reach, whilst allowing the entities to retain their respective talent pools and autonomy in financial management.

“We are creating a comprehensive pan-India hospital network to meet the evolving healthcare needs of millions across the country,” said Prem Kumar Nair, Group Chief Executive Officer of IHH.

The agreement is conditional upon acceptance and acknowledgment by the respective parties.
