Cowra Hospital Redevelopment to open in late 2025
The project features the facility’s first CT scanner.
Construction of the $72m (A$110.2m) Cowra Hospital Redevelopment is complete, with the facility expected to open later this year after operational commissioning.
The project features the hospital’s first CT scanner, an emergency department, a general medical and surgery inpatient ward, perioperative services, and a maternity unit with a dedicated nursery.
The redevelopment also includes ambulatory care, a dental clinic, renal dialysis, oncology services, community health services, and mental health services.
The project is delivered by Health Infrastructure and Western NSW Local Health District, in partnership with Richard Crookes Constructions.
