Bayside Health appoints inaugural chief executive

Adam Horsburgh’s appointment comes ahead of the merger’s 2026 launch.

The Designate Board of Bayside Health has appointed Adam Horsburgh as the inaugural Chief Executive of the merger.

Horsburgh is currently Chief Executive of Alfred Health. He has previously led Austin Health and served as Interim Chief Executive of Melbourne Health.

His appointment comes as Bayside Health prepares to launch on 1 January 2026.

The merger brings together Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health, Gippsland Southern Health, Kooweerup Regional Health Service, and Peninsula Health.
